I chose TRUTH "Second Hand Smoke" for my video. It is a song about how secondhand smoke can impact the health of others living in one's household. Although it is displayed in a humorous manner by imitating The Brady Bunch, it is actually based on a very serious issue that just about everyone in our society has to deal with. Even if you may not LIVE with someone who smokes indoors, we are all affected by the secondhand smoke that we come across in our everyday lives. For example, going on a walk and passing someone who is smoking, or being a passenger in a smoker's vehicle. ReplyDeleteFirst, I'd like to say that by including a picture in your post it definitely made it more eye catching and interesting :) I watched the video and I am not sure what to think. I thought it was a good video, but it makes me sad too because so many people do smoke around their children. I think this is a huge issue that we will continue to work on for some time. Thanks for posting about such an important topic!

Elly, This video was very creative in the way they are sending out their message. Thanks for sharing it. I want to show it to my friends now who do smoke so they would stop causing others to second hand smoke too. Sad to say that this kind of message had to make them realize that this is what smoking can cause. Mary
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be more videos like this. Sad = impact. It's the truth. People don't listen to something until something bad has happened, so impact videos are the best way to go.
ReplyDeleteWow, that was really sad. It was a great video and it totally got it's message across. I think that for a lot of people it really takes something so depressing like this to make it sink in. Videos are awesome at getting this type of message across, what a good find!
