There was the most brilliant reflection of the sun off of the still water that Lake superior simply sparkled--> hard to stare at without sunglasses!
I recently acquired a new macro/fisheye lens for my Canon Rebel Xsi. I was able to get up close to the plants and get a clear, crisp picture of the wildlife.
We also walked alongside the lake and found flat and round rocks that were PERFECT for skipping rocks.
Nature is such an important part of my life,
and getting out and taking pictures is just something that makes me feel complete.
Elly,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great and beautiful! It makes me want to take a drive up the North Shore. Too bad it's almost winter, but I suppose that brings out beauty in nature as well. I'd say the monarch picture is my favorite :)

Elly, I have not stopped by Northshore before to enjoy the beautiful nature you have captured here. It does look like a wonderful area to be out and relax after a week of long classes. I will have to go there one of these days and capture my own nature photos. They will not be as nice as yours here because my camera is old and the zoom button is broken. Mary
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! I haven't made the time to go out hiking like I have wished. The pictures look pretty :)
