Share & Voice: A TIP
I was signing into my yahoomail account and found an article on the homepage that was titled "Drinking Water Before Meals Aids Weight Loss," which goes along with my SMART goal of drinking more water. There is actually proven data that this is actually a true fact. Thanksgiving is in a few days, and it's suggested to drink a few glasses of water before you indulge in your succulent meal. To all of those that have drinking more water as one of their goals as well, I suggest you remember to do this and you'll be well on your way to getting your water intake for the day.

this is a very interesting fact. I suppose it makes sense, if your stomach is full of water there isnt much room for food. I might have to use this tip at Thanksgiving dinner.
ReplyDeleteI never knew that drinking water before eating helps weight loss, thinking about it it does make sense though. I'll have to drink a glass of water before the big meal to try not decrease the amount of food I eat, however its gonna be really hard not to eat all the delicious food in sight!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! Not only am I trying to drink more water, but I am also eating healthier for my SMART goal. Hopefully this helps!
ReplyDeleteI can understand why this is true. When I was little I always used to drink way to much milk during dinner and then was never hungry for my food (made my mom so mad!). So I can see how these liquids fill you up and make you eat less!
ReplyDeleteI realize when this happens to me because my stomach will feel a different kind of full, a liquid full. I don't think I'll drink water before thanksgiving though, I want to try and eat all the awesome food!
ReplyDeleteInteresting! Is this because it fills you up a little before you eat? I shall try this because my goal is to drink more water! Thanks for the information!
ReplyDeleteI have never actually been told that water fills you up more, but I most definitely believe it! I mentioned to Mary last week on her blog that whenever I get hungry I tend to drink water because I've learned that sometimes my 'hunger' is actually a sign that that I'm thristy!
